Role Overview: Tax Planning, Compliance & Advisory

Professionals in tax planning and compliance provide strategic advice and practical guidance to help businesses navigate complex and evolving tax regulations. They support clients in optimising tax positions, managing risk, and meeting all statutory obligations with accuracy and confidence.

Those specialising in tax compliance focus on validating adherence to tax laws and regulatory requirements. Core responsibilities include analysing financial data, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and ensuring clients fulfil their tax obligations while minimising exposure to non‑compliance.

Candidate Profile

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent qualification such as ACCA)
  • Professional designation allowing practice before the US IRS (CPA, attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent), or near completion
  • At least three years of experience in tax services within a professional services firm, law firm, or public accounting environment, with current experience at a Big 4 firm in the US being particularly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of US international tax compliance and the Internal Revenue Code

Preferred

  • Experience with US taxation of investment products (hedge funds, private equity) and/or insurance companies
