Within Transaction Services, you will play a central role in delivering high‑quality financial due diligence and wider transaction support. The team combines data‑driven analysis with commercial insight to help clients achieve successful deal outcomes.
The Role: Associate Director, Transaction Services
Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Director to help grow and strengthen the Transaction Services offering in London. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for client delivery, business development and team development.
You will:
- Lead and review financial due diligence engagements for corporate buyers, strategic investors, private equity and vendors.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high‑quality output, commercial insight and timely delivery.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, advisers, lenders and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the growth of the Transaction Services practice through networking, proposal development and market activity.
- Support, mentor and develop team members, contributing to recruitment, performance management and capability building.
- Apply sector knowledge to provide deeper insight and enhance the value of client deliverables.
- For capital markets engagements, ensure compliance with relevant reporting and regulatory requirements.
About You
You will be proactive, commercially minded and confident operating at senior stakeholder level. You enjoy leading teams, managing complex engagements and contributing to the strategic growth of a high‑performing practice.
You will bring:
- ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification
- Significant experience in financial due diligence within corporate finance, transaction services or a related advisory environment.
- Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under pressure.
- Previous management experience, including coaching and developing junior team members.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and persuasively.
- Strong technical capability, including advanced Excel and solid working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
- For capital markets work, thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and reporting requirements.
