To support this continued growth, we are seeking experienced Directors and Associate Directors to join the London team. These roles offer exposure to a diverse blend of advisory, formal insolvency, and cross‑border restructuring mandates.
The Opportunity
The successful candidates will take a leading role in delivering high‑impact restructuring assignments, advising stakeholders, and driving value in situations of financial stress or strategic transition. The mandate includes:
- Independent business reviews and options analysis
- Turnaround planning, liquidity management, and short‑term cashflow oversight
- Contingency planning and accelerated M&A processes
- Formal insolvency appointments (administrations, liquidations, CVAs)
- Multi‑jurisdictional and cross‑border restructuring engagements
- Stakeholder management across lenders, investors, boards, and legal advisors
- Supporting business development and contributing to the growth of the practice
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery
- Lead or support restructuring engagements from initial scoping through to execution.
- Produce robust financial analysis, cashflow modelling, and strategic recommendations.
- Manage workstreams on complex advisory and formal insolvency assignments.
- Ensure statutory compliance and fulfil regulatory responsibilities.
- Collaborate with international teams and external advisors on cross‑border matters.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and develop junior colleagues.
- Contribute to a high‑performing, collaborative team culture.
- Support recruitment, training, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
Business Development
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders, private equity, law firms, and corporate clients.
- Identify new opportunities and support pitches, proposals, and thought leadership.
- Represent the firm at industry events and networking forums.
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
- Significant restructuring experience gained within a leading advisory, accountancy, or specialist restructuring firm.
- Strong track record across both advisory and formal insolvency mandates.
- Experience working on cross‑border or multi‑jurisdictional assignments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in high‑pressure environments.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, JIEB, or equivalent preferred.
- Insolvency licence advantageous for Director‑level candidates.
