About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our clients Advisory team in the British Virgin Islands, focusing primarily on corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to high-impact projects across a diverse range of industries, including financial services and investment funds.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that helps companies, lenders, creditors, and other stakeholders navigate financial distress, simplify corporate structures, and unlock value through strategic restructuring. From defining engagement scope to executing and reporting, you’ll play a key role in solving complex business challenges.

Responsibilities & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring within a professional services environment; financial services experience preferred but not essential.
  • Recently Qualified Accountants with FS Audit experience and a desire to pursue restructuring as a career will also be considered.
  • Internationally recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA); insolvency credentials such as CPI or INSOL Foundation Certificate are a plus
  • Strong understanding of statutory insolvency frameworks in common law jurisdictions; cross-border insolvency knowledge is advantageous
  • Skilled in preparing analytical reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Capable of identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving progress
  • Comfortable building direct relationships with clients and contributing to team development
  • Committed to continuous learning, feedback, and professional growth
  • Able to extract insights from business trends and apply them to client challenges

Salary and Benefits and Relocation

The salary ranges from $80k to 90k tax free, based on experience, with a 25% bonus eligibility tax free. Additional benefits include a $720 annual wellness bonus, discretionary spot bonuses for exceptional performance, flights from the UK, and $1,200 in relocation expenses (with receipts). You’ll also receive two weeks of hotel and car accommodations, along with introductions to estate agents to help find an apartment.
