About the Role
You will bring deep expertise in financial due diligence, supporting corporate and strategic buyers, private equity investors, vendors, and reporting accountants. Your insights will help clients navigate complex transactions with confidence and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development
- Collaborate with Directors and Partners to manage and grow the Corporate Finance team.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
- Lead performance reviews, training initiatives, and promotion recommendations.
- Project Delivery & Execution
- Oversee large-scale Corporate Finance engagements, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Resolve project challenges proactively and coordinate cross-service line collaboration.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of client industries and business models.
- Business Development & Growth
- Identify and convert opportunities into new Corporate Finance engagements.
- Contribute to marketing efforts, proposals, and the expansion of service offerings.
- Promote cross-selling across the firm’s portfolio of services.
- Technical Excellence
- Apply deep technical knowledge to complex financial due diligence assignments.
- Communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Culture & Communication
- Act as a role model within the team, championing integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
- Provide honest, timely, and constructive feedback to peers and team members.
Qualifications & Experience
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent overseas qualification), or demonstrable relevant experience.
- Proven track record in Corporate Finance, ideally within a Transaction Services environment.
- Strong leadership and people management experience.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- For Capital Markets work, a thorough understanding of relevant legislation is essential.
