Our client, a globally recognised consulting firm with a market‑leading restructuring and turnaround practice, is seeking experienced Directors and Senior Directors to join its expanding Paris team. Work in a high‑growth advisory platform working with corporates, lenders, private equity and special situations investors across France and the wider EMEA region.
The Opportunity
You will take a central role in delivering complex restructuring engagements, shaping strategic options, and driving business development. The position offers significant autonomy, international exposure, and a clear pathway to senior leadership.
This role suits bilingual restructuring professionals with strong experience in advisory, turnaround, special situations or transaction‑related work who are ready to step into a Director‑level position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver restructuring, turnaround and performance improvement engagements for corporates, lenders and PE-backed businesses.
- Develop restructuring strategies, liquidity plans, options analysis, IBRs, contingency planning and stakeholder management.
- Act as a senior client contact, building trusted relationships with C‑suite executives, banks, funds and legal advisors.
- Contribute to business development, originate opportunities and support the growth of the Paris practice.
- Manage, coach and develop junior team members, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Europe and globally on cross-border mandates.
Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in restructuring advisory, turnaround, special situations, or transaction‑related engagements.
- Proven track record delivering IBRs, cash flow analysis, options analysis, contingency planning or performance improvement work.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical capability.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with appetite for business development.
- Fluent French and strong English.
- Paris-based or open to relocation.
