We’re seeking a talented Corporate Tax Manager to join their Manchester office, supporting a diverse client base and contributing to high-impact projects across the UK and internationally.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with clear pathways for progression. While full-time is preferred, they welcome applications from candidates seeking a four-day week. You’ll work with a varied portfolio including:

Key Responsibilities

Client-Facing Work

  • Lead corporate tax compliance for a portfolio of complex clients
  • Deliver UK and cross-border advisory projects
  • Build strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for additional services
  • Ensure high standards of integrity, risk management, and client service

Team Leadership

  • Coach and mentor junior staff, providing on-the-job training and development
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture
  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives and contribute to strategic direction

Business Development

  • Support growth initiatives and help generate new business
  • Collaborate with colleagues across tax, audit, and corporate finance

What We’re Looking For

  • CTA or equivalent qualification
  • Strong experience in corporate tax and tax accounting
  • Proven track record in managing compliance and advisory projects
  • Passion for client service and business development
  • Solid understanding of UKGAAP and financial analysis
  • Ability to manage risk and deliver high-quality work under pressure
