Role Overview
As a Audit Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing audit engagements from planning through to completion. You’ll lead client relationships, supervise audit teams, and contribute to the growth and success of the audit function.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead audits from planning to finalisation within budget and timeline
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact
- Supervise on-site audit teams and mentor junior staff
- Allocate work effectively based on team strengths and development goals
- Research technical accounting issues and propose solutions
- Monitor engagement timelines and proactively address challenges
- Oversee billing and work-in-progress for your portfolio
- Present audit findings to senior stakeholders and boards
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
- ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent qualification
- Must be currently working at Manager level in a top 50 firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
- Proven experience with complex group audits and component auditors
- Ability to deliver practical business advice and escalate key issues
- Commitment to ongoing CPD and sector-specific learning
