This role offers an exciting opportunity for a high‑performing Senior Manager to join the Methodology team within the Audit Quality Practice. You will bring strong audit experience, excellent technical capability and the confidence to influence and support teams across the firm. The role can be based in London or a regional office, with occasional travel.


What you’ll be doing

As part of the Methodology team, you will support the development, application and communication of the firm’s audit methodology, including:

  • Leading and contributing to key Audit Methodology & Reporting initiatives, including guidance, methodology updates, audit tool enhancements and training
  • Drafting, reviewing and updating technical guidance, policies and methodology materials
  • Responding to methodology and reporting queries from audit teams at all levels
  • Designing and delivering training linked to methodology and reporting developments
  • Acting as a sector or office representative, supporting local teams with sector‑specific queries and content
  • Contributing to Methodology team responsibilities under the firm’s System of Quality Management

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and play a visible role in shaping how audit teams apply standards in practice.


You’ll bring:

  • ACA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Deep knowledge of UK auditing standards
  • Strong practical experience applying ISAs and audit methodology, including experience as an Audit Manager/Senior Manager.
  • Experience in an audit technical or advisory role; IT audit experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small, specialist team
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Experience designing and delivering training
  • A sense of ownership, accountability and professional curiosity
