How you’ll make an impact
You’ll be joining a team committed to delivering transparent, reliable and insightful audits across the insurance sector. You’ll be someone who is proactive, organised and confident managing your own portfolio while collaborating closely with Senior Managers, Directors and Partners. You will help deliver accurate reporting and long‑term value to clients and stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a key point of contact for insurance audit clients, alongside Directors and Partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of each client’s business model, risks and regulatory environment.
- Identify opportunities to add value or introduce additional services, escalating to the Partner where appropriate.
- Represent the firm at client and market events, acting as an ambassador and staying informed about the full suite of services available.
- Recruit, develop and motivate team members, including involvement in graduate recruitment, performance reviews and setting development plans.
- Deliver assignments within agreed budgets and timelines, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and additional billings.
What you’ll bring
- Current insurance audit experience at Assistant Manager or Manager level is essential.
- ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualification (or overseas equivalent).
- Experience managing and developing people.
- Strong working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Understanding of insurance sector accounting, regulatory frameworks and financial products.
- Experience in systems and controls testing, substantive audit work, consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures.
- Project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
