A leading professional services firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join its Deals & Valuations practice. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality valuation, transaction advisory and financial modelling services to clients across private markets, corporate groups, sovereign entities and the broader investment ecosystem.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in driving engagements, managing teams, strengthening client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the firm’s advisory platform in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver valuation engagements across business valuations, purchase price allocations, impairment testing, portfolio valuations and fair‑value reporting.
- Manage transaction advisory assignments including financial due diligence, deal structuring support, and pre‑/post‑transaction analysis.
- Oversee the development of complex financial models for transactions, strategic decision‑making and valuation purposes.
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships with investment funds, corporates, family groups and government‑linked entities.
- Review and challenge valuation methodologies, assumptions and outputs to ensure technical robustness and compliance with relevant standards.
- Prepare high‑quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and boards.
- Mentor, coach and develop junior team members, contributing to a high‑performance culture.
- Support business development initiatives, including proposal writing, market mapping and participation in client pitches.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Deals, Corporate Finance, Audit and Consulting to deliver integrated solutions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of valuation standards, regulatory developments and market trends relevant to the KSA and wider GCC region.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5 + years of experience in valuations, transaction advisory or corporate finance within a professional services firm, investment platform or financial institution.
- Strong technical expertise in valuation methodologies, financial modelling and deal analysis.
- Proven track record leading engagements and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Professional qualifications preferred: ACA, ACCA, CFA, CPA, CBV or equivalent.
- Experience working with private equity, sovereign wealth funds, family offices or large corporates in the GCC is highly advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities for client value creation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
