Senior Directors play a pivotal role in leading complex turnaround engagements that blend strategic insight, financial rigour, and operational execution.
Assignments typically span the full restructuring lifecycle: conducting independent business reviews to assess financial viability, managing cash and working capital through tools such as 13‑week cash flow forecasting, and designing recovery plans that may include collective redundancy programmes. The team also supports contingency planning and insolvency processes, offering exposure to the full spectrum of restructuring finance.
Within this context, our client is seeking a talented and ambitious Directors to join their leading Restructuring team in Paris.
What You’ll Do
Deliver client engagements by:
- Shaping engagement scope, methodology, and deliverables
- Managing projects within time and budget constraints
- Keeping clients and stakeholders informed on progress, findings, and emerging issues
- Coaching and developing junior team members
- Forming early hypotheses and pressure‑testing them with senior leadership
- Owning and delivering substantial portions of client output
- Stepping in for Senior Managing Directors when required
Lead business development activities, including:
- Contributing to key accounts, pursuits, recruitment, and broader practice development
- Preparing and leading formal pitches
- Acting as a counsellor and mentor to support junior colleagues’ professional development
- Participating in training initiatives
- Building and maintaining strong personal and professional networks
