The Opportunity
This is a standout opportunity for a talented and ambitious Manager to join the Corporate Reporting Team. You’ll play a key role in enhancing audit quality across the firm, working closely with Partners, Directors and Senior Managers during a period of growth and transformation.

What You’ll Do
- Review a personal portfolio of annual reports for publicly traded and other higher‑risk entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, company law and regulatory requirements.
- Work with Directors and Senior Managers to provide clear, practical solutions to complex financial reporting queries raised by audit teams.
- Prepare and deliver internal training, updates and seminars on emerging reporting issues.
- Draft articles, guidance and internal communications on financial reporting developments.
- Monitor external regulatory and standard‑setting developments, feeding insights back into the team and supporting action planning.
- Contribute to wider Audit Quality initiatives and cross‑firm projects.
- Support, coach and supervise junior team members, helping to build a strong, cohesive technical community.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate
- ACA/ICAS qualified (or overseas equivalent), ideally with at least 2 years’ PQE
- Experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager in a technical team, or relevant technical financial reporting experience within audit
- Practical experience reviewing annual reports; listed company experience is desirable
- Strong working knowledge of:
- IFRSs, UK GAAP and the Companies Act
- The wider financial reporting environment
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to complex reporting issues
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work both within a close‑knit team and independently
- Highly motivated and proactive, with a desire to innovate and improve internal service delivery
- A genuine commitment to developing corporate reporting expertise
