As a US Tax Manager within our client’s US Tax team, you will lead a group dedicated to delivering high‑quality tax planning, compliance, and strategic guidance. Your work will help businesses navigate complex U.S. tax regulations, optimise their tax positions, and confidently meet their reporting obligations.
A core part of the role involves validating clients’ compliance with U.S. tax laws, reviewing and analysing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and supporting organisations in managing risk while maintaining strong tax governance.
Key Responsibilities

- Taking ownership of projects, ensuring effective planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.

- Addressing conflicts or sensitive issues with clients and colleagues, escalating when appropriate.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting/taxation, or a law degree from an accredited university.
- Completion of a U.S. CPA designation, admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction, or an equivalent U.S. tax certification. Candidates without CPA/EA credentials but with strong relevant U.S. tax experience will also be considered.
- At least 5 years of U.S. tax experience with an international accounting firm, law firm, or similar environment, with a focus on partnership and corporate taxation.
- Experience with hedge funds, private equity funds, investment partnerships, or insurance companies is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and tax software such as ATX and GoSystem.
- Highly organised, self‑motivated, and dedicated to delivering exceptional work.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
- A proven ability to collaborate effectively with peers to achieve shared goals.
