As a Technical Senior Manager, you’ll play a key role in strengthening audit quality across the firm. You’ll work closely with engagement teams, offering practical guidance, technical insight, and solutions to complex issues. Your work will help shape internal best practice, support the development of others, and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing practical, high‑quality technical support on complex audit and assurance matters
- Demonstrating strong and up‑to‑date technical knowledge
- Offering clear, effective, and tailored advice to engagement teams
- Collaborating within a specialist technical team and the wider technical function
- Contributing to technical projects and developing firmwide guidance
- Supporting teams independently while recognising when to seek input from colleagues
- Assisting audit and advisory teams with a wide range of audit and assurance queries
What We’re Looking For
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong audit background
- Familiarity with UK ISAs (including ISA 700, 701, 800)
- Previous experience in a technical audit role
- Experience with assurance standards such as ISAE (UK) 3000, ISRS 4400, ISRE 2410
- Knowledge of UK company law relevant to audit (Companies Act 2006)
- Strong understanding of UK accounting standards (IFRS, FRS 101, FRS 102)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience delivering technical training, both in person and online
