The Forensic Services team continues to grow, and our client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Associate Director to join a well‑established national disputes practice with ambitious expansion plans. This role is predominantly disputes‑focused and will play a key part in expert witness assignments, advisory engagements, and the team’s marketing and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day activities on expert witness and advisory assignments, including team management, client engagement, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Perform detailed and complex financial analysis, including financial modelling and use of industry‑standard tools.
  • Draft high‑quality client deliverables and oversee the work of junior team members, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and professional development.
  • Contribute to the team’s long‑term strategy and support effective marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Strengthen the technical capability of the forensic disputes team to meet evolving client needs.
  • Support delivery of the team’s business plan, setting clear objectives and ensuring resources are effectively utilised.

Requirements

  • Senior forensic accountant with significant experience managing multiple complex expert witness projects.
  • Deep sector knowledge with a proactive approach to emerging trends and risks.
  • Proven ability to grow, lead, and motivate teams delivering forensic and investigative services.
  • Strong involvement in business development and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated track record of service excellence and senior‑level stakeholder engagement.
  • Evidence of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience developing junior team members through coaching, supervision, and structured feedback.

  • Proven contribution to business development and enhancement of client relationships.
  • Genuine commitment to people development and team success.
  • Experience in quantifying loss in large commercial claims and in contentious or non‑contentious business valuations.
