Our client’s expanding Digital and Risk Advisory Services (DRAS) team delivers Internal Audit, Advisory, and Third‑Party Assurance (TPA) engagements to a diverse portfolio of organisations across multiple sectors.

Their rapidly growing TPA Assurance team plays a critical role in helping clients build trust with stakeholders by providing independent assurance over a wide range of subject matter. “Trust” is a core pillar of their brand and underpins their culture, market reputation, and client relationships.

This role focuses on delivering high‑quality TPA assurance engagements, advisory projects, and readiness assessments for clients preparing to meet evolving reporting and assurance requirements. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced assurance professional to apply and deepen their expertise across ISAE 3000, ISAE 3402, ISAE 3410, AAF 01/20, SOC 1 / SOC 2, ISRS 4400, and emerging frameworks.

You will work with clients at varying stages of their reporting journey, overseeing multiple concurrent projects, leading teams, and supporting the continued growth of the TPA practice. There will also be opportunities to contribute to ESG assurance as standards and regulatory expectations evolve.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Advisory

  • Provide subject‑matter expertise on TPA reporting standards and evolving assurance frameworks.
  • Contribute to technical updates, methodology development, planning discussions, and issue resolution.
  • Support training and capability building across the DRAS team.

Assurance Delivery & Project Management

  • Lead and oversee complex assurance reviews across diverse industries and subject matter.
  • Act as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication and high‑quality deliverables.
  • Manage a portfolio of engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards (including ISQM1).
  • Perform final file reviews and ensure compliance with internal and external assurance requirements.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop junior team members, providing on‑the‑job training and performance support.
  • Support recruitment, resource planning, forecasting, and quality assurance activities.

Business Development & Client Growth

  • Identify and progress new business opportunities across the TPA and wider advisory service lines.
  • Lead proposal development, including no‑go assessments, stakeholder coordination, and pitch delivery.
  • Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and professional conferences.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in external audit, internal audit, regulatory assurance, or risk advisory.
  • Strong knowledge of recognised assurance standards: ISAE 3000, ISAE 3402, ISAE 3410, AAF 01/20, SOC 1 / SOC 2, ISRS 4400.
  • Proven experience leading complex assurance engagements, including planning, risk assessment, and methodology application.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and how these apply in an assurance context.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, engage, and manage senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and report‑writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Strong project management capability with a track record of delivering high‑quality work.
